Artist Trading Cards:  history behind them click here

Here is an interesting link on using ATC's in your classroom!  Please email me any good links you find!

You will create 4 ATC's for class all relating to your identity:
1.)  You as an artist
2.) You as a teacher
3.)  You as a friend, family member or another member of a group that is important to your identity

4.) You as a middle school student! ( to share )

 We will trade one of them with a 15 middle school students in Iowa Falls. They are mailing theirs to us on the 16th with a small index card with the following information on it:
What are you trying to communicate through your artist trading cards?, How do your cards show your own identity, who you are? How are they similar to business cards that promote your art portfolio? Describe what is on the card you will trade with a UNI college student?
On the back of each card they included their name, but I left the rest up to them, some have put Riverbend Middle School, others Iowa Falls.
We will do the same!  
After completing these- we have the option of exchanging them in class as well!
