Blog 10- Helping kids to collaborate and think abstractly

Next week we will begin our new collaborative art project with local junior high students. Our goal is to help the students seek points of pride in their building and communicate it through abstract thinking. What does it mean to show pride and how can we teach students to think abstractly?
Please respond with your own definition of  these ideas and share strategies you plan to incorporate in your work next week.

What challenges do you anticipate and how can you troubleshoot some of these ahead of time?  (Support one another with ideas)
